Azad Hosein MBA, CDP

Azad Hosein is the President and lead consultant of Microsearch International, Inc, a regional project management consultancy and training company establish in 1992.
He is a graduate of Mc Gill Univ. (Maths and Computer Science) and from the University of Toronto (MBA – Planning and Information Systems).
He is a former Head of the Dept. of Management Studies at UWI, St. Augustine and Associate Professor of Management at Florida Atlantic University.
He has conducted over three hundred professional training courses in project management across the Caribbean region (including the PMP and PMI-SP Examination Preparation Courses) and has consulted to several Caribbean Governments, Caribbean regional organizations and companies in the energy sector in Trinidad.
He is the author of several papers and booklets on Project Management including his landmark paper on “A Framework for Monitoring and Evaluation in the Public Sector” which is published on the PMI website, in three languages.

 

 

Dr. Tom Johns, PhD, PE, PMP, MAPM

Dr. Johns is the founder of Business Management Consultants (BMC) and for 23 years served as its CEO leading BMC to become “the world’s top project management solution provider” according to an independent evaluation for over 600 consulting firms by Hewlett Packard. In 2008 Dr. Johns became BMC’s Chairman of its Advisory Council, and he remains a senior management consultant with BMC’s special clients. Through his 18 collective years at AT&T's Bell Telephone Laboratories and Battelle Memorial Institute in positions of Member of Technical Staff, program manager and general manager, Dr. Johns worked with companies of the Aerospace, Energy, Manufacturing, Electronics, Transportation, Telecommunications and Construction industries. This familiarity together with his international management experience enables Dr. Johns to offer unique assistance to government and industry worldwide based upon considerable international management and technical insight.
Dr. Johns is on the faculty at NASA Academy (Washington D.C.), Singapore Institute of Management (Singapore), The Hong Kong Management Association (Hong Kong), Tec de Monterrey (Mexico) and is a Guest Lecturer at Cambridge University. Dr. Johns is a Certified Professional Engineer, PE, a member the Project Management Institute, PMI® and is a Certified Project Management Professional, PMP®. Dr. Johns is also a Member of UK Association of Project Management, APM and is a MAPM. Dr. Johns is a technical reviewer for The International Journal of Project Management the technical publication of International Project Management Association, IPMA, and he has been Technical Editor of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and Chairman of ASME Emerging Energies. Dr. Johns is a Member of Sigma XI, The Scientific Research Society and was awarded its Outstanding Research Award. He received his BE in Mechanical Engineering from Youngstown State University, and his MS and Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics from The Ohio State University. Dr. Johns is one of the world's leading authorities on project management.
