Cynthia Gloria Hayes – President

Manager – Project Support and Administrative Control, Endeco Trinidad Ltd

Cynthia Gloria Hayes is a Project Management Professional (PMP®) and holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in General Management with specialisation in Project Management, from Henley Management College, London. Cynthia has also earned the post-graduate diploma in general management (Henley), the professional certification as an International Business Administrator with the Institute of Administrative Management, London, and certification in Management from the University of the West Indies.
Cynthia has worked in a project-based-environment for twenty-nine (29) years; her experience spans the field of Administrative Management, Human Resource Management, Project Management and Contract Administration in the Construction Industry. She has also been able to establish and presently manages the enterprise-wide project management office supported by project management procedures manuals, administration manuals, templates and methodologies that lends project management support and administration control to the ENDECO/WREP Group of Companies.

 

 

Michael P A Charles  – Immediate Past President

Chief Operating Officer – Damus Ltd.
Michael graduated from the University of Surrey, Guilford, England in 1973 with a BSc. degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has over thirty years international experience in Project Management in the Oil and Gas industry, both in the State and Private sector. In June of 2001, he joined Damus Limited where he currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer, as well as, being a member of the Board of Directors.

Michael is a founding member of the Project Management Institute Southern Caribbean Chapter (PMISCC), and is currently the President of the Board of Directors. He is a registered Engineer with the Board of Engineering of Trinidad & Tobago and is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Michael has presented several technical papers on the practical aspects of managing projects in the local Mechanical Engineering and Construction Industry.

Mark Hopkins – Vice President, Compliance

Executive Vice President – Project Management, Fujitsu Caribbean

Mark Hopkins, PMP®, is Canadian by birth, resident in Trinidad and Tobago. Prior to moving to Trinidad in 2000, Mark was an Adjunct Lecturer at the Faculty of Information Studies, a graduate programme of the University of Toronto. He has over 30 years experience as a manager, a senior executive and a consultant in both public and private sectors in North America and the Caribbean. Mark has a wide range of experience managing large scale information and technology projects in public and private sector organizations. His interest in business processes and policies which support good governance have been a useful contribution to the PMI SCC Board.
